About Me
I want to help embroiderers by giving them all the information they need to get started in this wonderful art and craft! These aren’t trade secrets I’m sharing, just the knowledge and experience I’ve gained through years of stitching.
Creating embroidered artwork, and sharing my tips and tricks with others, allows me to focus on my passion and purpose in life — to bring others joy and light through embroidery.
MY STORY
At the beginning of the pandemic I, like so many others, made the decision to upend the status quo. I wanted to show myself, and the world, that I could make it on my own doing what I love to do — embroidery!
I first picked up embroidery in my college years, but it dropped to the wayside as I pursued two degrees in music, and later, a certificate in paralegal studies. But my full-time job with higher pay and benefits wasn’t making me any happier. Actually, quite the opposite — it was sucking the very life out of me!
Being sequestered at home during the pandemic made me reanalyze my life and what is truly important to me. I realized that love and happiness are the only things worth pursuing. Now, they’re my top priorities in life, and for me, that meant creating this website to focus on what I enjoy most.
In short, my objective is to make the world a better place for me, my family, and everyone else in it.
