Betta Splendens
This is my take on a Siamese Fighting Fish. Beautiful but deadly, this fish is known for its wonderfully large fins and aggressive nature. This piece features stumpwork (raised, or 3-dimensional) embroidery and various beading techniques to achieve both the body of the fish and the coral below it.
